What we do

- patrol all of the state and waterways

- investigate state-wide and cross-jurisdictional major crimes (i.e. organized crime, trafficking, smuggling)

- investigate major cases (i.e. homicide, kidnapping) and or provide major case investigation support to other police services when requested

- provide air support for search and rescue, prisoner transport and investigation

- provide specialized response services across the state

- provide protection to visiting politicians and government representatives

- provide security services in government buildings

- work closely with other agencies

- locate and take down individuals with warrants

- provide a Internal Affairs department to other LEO Departments
